Komono-cho

Part of Komono-cho has been designated as the Suzuka National Park. The area near the summit of Mt. Gozaisho, the primary peak among the mountains in the park, is a cornucopia of wild animals and alpine plants. Visitors can travel to the area by ropeway. At the base of the mountain is the well-known Yu-no-Yama hot spring, which has been used for more than 1,300 years. Many visitors like to stop here for a bath during a day trip.
