Matsusaka Momen (Cotton) Center

This center was created to make Matsusaka cotton, characterized by elegant striped patterns and indigo dyes, more widely know. Inside, 7 weaving machines create an atmosphere of soft sound.
Applicants can take a "1-day weaver princess" course or other courses to experience weaving cotton. It takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to weave 1m of cloth.

Access	15-minute walk from Matsusaka Station on JR or Kintetsu Lines, or at Honmachi Bus Stop on buses heading to Fujinokidai, Kawai-cho, or Asaka/Ono
Fee (admission, etc.)	Free 1-day weaver princess course: ¥2,000, including thread
Open	10:00～18:00 (December 1 ~ February 28) 10:00-17:30
Facility closed, etc.	Thursday（In case of holiday, on the following day, December 26 ~ January 5）
