Residence of Matsusaka Merchant

Residence of Matsusaka Merchant

The former residence of Seizaemon Ozu, a wealthy merchant of paper and cotton in Edo. It has a simple appearance with latticework and palisades, but inside it is unexpectedly spacious, with two storehouses inside, recalling the lifestyle of Edo storeowner Ise merchants.
