Senju-ji Temple |

Commonly called by its nickname Takada Honzan, it contains the Shingon Honzan opened by Shinran (1173-1262). In addition to the temple compound village which was created on the Ishinden site, the Buddhist prayers spread by Shinran are still said today. The main hall is an important cultural asset as the largest wooden structure in the prefecture, and there is also a treasure hall with national treasures and important cultural assets. |
